Holistic Transportation and Healthy Communities

CBB’s mission is to develop sustainable transportation systems that support the health and well-being of our communities. We are committed to a holistic transportation system that provides for all modes of transportation, ensuring access to opportunity for everyone. Our team understands that as public spaces, streets should be designed to move people and goods efficiently while providing the opportunity for everyone to get around, ages eight to 80. To that end, we are committed to our work in the areas of Complete Streets and Sustainable Transportation.

Traffic Impacts Everyone

Transportation impacts everyone on a daily basis, from driving to work, to walking to the park or to the bus stop. Our team is committed to ensuring we design transportation systems in a context that is sensitive to all needs and to the environment. We are well versed in complete streets principles and have extensive experience working on multimodal transportation plans. CBB understands the impacts transportation has on many elements of communities, including health and equity. We strive to plan communities that are accessible, safe, equitable and vibrant.

Key project areas include:

  • Bicycle System Planning
  • Complete Street Design
  • Great Street Studies
  • Multi-Modal Planning
  • Mobility as a Service (Maas) Planning
  • Safe Routes to School

The work of CBB continues to impact neighborhoods in the City of St. Louis in extremely positive ways. As an elected official, I focus on how to better my community and enhance livability for all the residents of Ward 16 and the City of St. Louis. The transportation planning and traffic calming work done by CBB has been critical in enhancing mobility and providing safer streets within many neighborhoods, including Southampton and St. Louis Hills. In addition to this work, the excitement their staff brings, as residents of St. Louis, to enhancing our communities is contagious, and we are grateful to have them in the St. Louis community.
