Nearly 50 Years in Business

CBB realizes the need for communities to update and maintain quality infrastructure. We know that healthy, vibrant, and sustainable communities have quality infrastructure that provides for all its residents. At the same time, we understand the significant expense this type of infrastructure can be on a local budget. Many of our partners look to the State and Federal governments to assist them with their infrastructure planning and building needs. Often, this assistance comes in the form of grants. CBB is well versed in grant writing and have successfully procured many grants for our clients during our nearly 50 years in business.

Helping to Navigate the Process

Grant writing is seldom an easy and straight forward process, and many times local agencies do not have the staff capacity to complete the process on their own. CBB is here to help you navigate that process. We have specialized skill and technical expertise to put together strong grant applications that are sound in their project description, cost estimation, and any additional needs. We can help in every stage of the process. Many times, we help clients identify a need and a solution to that need, locate a grant resource to further develop the project, complete the grant application, and upon award of the funding, help design the final product. CBB has experience working on small scale and large-scale grants, all while building consensus and support for projects.

We have extensive experience with the following grant opportunities:

  • Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ)
  • Surface Transportation Program (STP)
  • Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP)
  • MoDOT Cost Share Program
  • RAISE Transportation Grants (formerly BUILD America and TIGER Grants)

The work of CBB continues to impact neighborhoods in the City of St. Louis in extremely positive ways. As an elected official, I focus on how to better my community and enhance livability for all the residents of Ward 16 and the City of St. Louis. The transportation planning and traffic calming work done by CBB has been critical in enhancing mobility and providing safer streets within many neighborhoods, including Southampton and St. Louis Hills. In addition to this work, the excitement their staff brings, as residents of St. Louis, to enhancing our communities is contagious, and we are grateful to have them in the St. Louis community.
