Joanne Stackpole is dedicated to creating innovative, long-lasting transportation solutions to challenges facing today’s communities. She is at the forefront of creating resources for communities to address mobility and safety for all road users. Joanne has contributed to projects addressing a wide range of transportation network needs, including major interstate reconstruction projects, safety action plans, traffic calming studies, and interchange studies. She has led CBB’s efforts on complex projects such as the Gateway to Safer Roadways: St. Louis Regional Safety Action Plan (awarded the APA St. Louis Section 2024 Award for Outstanding Planning Practice and 2025 MOVITE Transportation Achievement Award for Planning), City of Columbia Planning Level of Comfort Map, and City of St. Louis Traffic Calming Guidelines.
