Rob Twillman has enjoyed working on a variety of transportation projects during his time at CBB. Rob has accumulated more than 19 years of traffic and transportation engineering experience since joining CBB in 2006. His experience on projects at CBB includes signal timing optimization, roadway/signal design, roadway/signal inspection, traffic impact studies, parking studies, mitigation of construction related congestion, TMC signal system monitoring, field programming of traffic signal controllers, turn-ons of traffic signals and troubleshooting traffic signal issues.

More About Me

During my time as an engineer, my most memorable experience is...

The project that I am most proud of and enjoyed the most was MoDOT’s Arterial Management Interface. It is a resource that MoDOT uses when there is an interstate closure to help move motorists around the incident using arterial roads. I got to build massive Synchro models, which I enjoy, and develop timing plans to help flush vehicles to the next on ramp. I have seen it used countless times since it was finished which is fulfilling.

Best vacation I have ever taken...

My honeymoon in Hawaii. We spent 5 days in Maui which was awesome even though it rained the first day (which the locals were super excited about), and they had an earthquake a few hours before we got there. Then we spent 2 days in Honolulu on Waikiki Beach which was completely different from Maui but very neat to see.

The sport I enjoy watching most is...

I play hockey so it is my favorite sport for sure. I enjoy watching the Blues more than any other professional team by a long shot.
