Jacob Kaltenbronn has over five years of experience in transportation engineering primarily focused on signal timing and optimization, roadway and signal design, and intelligent transportation systems. Jacob has significant experience in signal operations and is familiar with programming and operation of a variety of signal controllers. He is well versed in design standards such as ADA and PROWAG, as well as software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, Autoturn, Synchro, HCS, and Advanced Traffic Management Software (ATMS) such as TACTICS, CENTRACS, and TransSuite. Jacob has also overseen CBB’s data collection efforts and is a FAA-Certified Drone Pilot responsible for implementing drone operations at CBB. Jacob’s experience has led to his appointment as an Adjunct Instructor at Washington University in St. Louis and his involvement on ITE’s Transportation Systems Management and Operations (TSMO) Council.
