Field Technician, St. Louis, Missouri
Job Description
We have an immediate opening for a Field Technician. The successful candidate will participate in traffic data collection activities and other duties as assigned. The position has opportunities for long-term growth and advancement. Summary of duties includes:
- Coordinate and maintain a schedule for data collection projects
- Installation, removal, processing, and maintenance of traffic data collection equipment including pneumatic tube (hose) counters, traffic cameras, radar recorders, etc.
- Perform manual traffic counts and other field observations
Position Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Core Skills: Organizational, attention to detail, interpersonal
- Ability to work well with others as part of a team
- Basic computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Self-motivated with an ability to manage concurrent tasks with tight deadlines
- Willingness to work overtime, as necessary, to meet deadlines as required
- Willingness to travel out of town periodically
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 40 pounds regularly
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
